About

What is Chashma Hayat?

Chashma Hayat exists to provide a clear vision of Hope to those who are looking for peace of mind, a better way of living their everyday lives, and answers to heavy burdens carried each day. In a dark world that often has little spiritual light…we share Hope.  Chashma Hayat is produced in Urdu, one of the ten different language programs of Christians Broadcasting Hope (CBH).

Why Hope?

Hope is what gives us strength to get up in the morning. We hope for a better day, we hope for a better future, we hope for a better way of life. All these issues impacting our lives are addressed in our discussions. Hope is also related to our faith and love. Through our programs we strive to bring true Hope. It's a Hope that is best found in knowing Jesus, the living God.

Razia Mushtaq was born in Lahore, Pakistan. While a toddler her family moved to Karachi where she finished high school at St. Anthony's Catholic School.  It was there she felt a calling to serve God and His people, and she was baptized in 2012.  A former law clerk, and current teacher and office manager, she continued her preparation for ministry at St. Thomas' Theological College where she earned the degrees of Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity with high honors and distinction.  All of this with the clear focus of bringing the Hope of Jesus to the world where she lives.

“It is my burden and desire to reach out to our dear peoples with the Good News of the Gospel in the Urdu language and other local dialects.  We can reach many people with online platforms, radio, and television. People feel comfortable watching or listening from their homes, especially concerning matters relating to spirituality.”
